Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, yesterday said he was ready to face and fight dictatorship and anti-democratic forces in the country.

Atiku, who was at the Bayelsa State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat told the crowd of supporters, that he was in Bayelsa to reconnect with them and stand up for the fight ahead against anti-democratic forces.

“If you remember, I can fight or face anyone. I was in the vanguard of fighting the military. Though many lives were lost, we were successful. I am ready to change the change,” he said.

The PDP presidential aspirant promised to ensure that the Niger Delta’s yearning for a restructured Nigeria becomes a reality in 2019, if he is voted in as the next president.

A quick look at his statement shows you an example of a man that hasn’t changed despite change fold and opening new political chapter.

First, he lacks the personality to implement all the claims made above. He is not the type of person that would revolutionize our political landscape.

Atiku is am embodiment of corruption and has shown that notoriously since his days in Nigeria Custom to his becoming Vice President.

Unlike Dangote, he has built all he owns now from corrupt acts while in public office.

The Siemens case banging in America is just another instance while our legal system is rather tame from fighting the powerful. Atiku should first explain how he built the American University of Nigeria among other investments.
