At least four persons have been killed and more 44 others injured in five suicide bomb attacks in Maiduguri last night, witness and rescue officials said.
The first incident occurred at Dalori IDP camp in Maiduguri, when a female blew up self and killing two others.
Abdul Kaka, a witness, told Daily Trust that, “We lost two IDPs to the attacker, many wounded, those with light injures are receiving treatment at NAF clinic at Dalori camp.
“Those with critical injuries were evacuated to state specialist hospital and UMTH for medical attention.”
One of the rescue workers confirmed that the attackers wreaked havoc in Dalori IDP camp and Dalori quarters at about 8:15pm this evening.
“Two female suicide bombers killed 2 and more than 30 injured In Dalori 1 idp’s Camp outskirts of Maiduguriy According Rapid Emergency officer.”
“One inside the camp while the other outside at Dalori quarters killed self.” Rescue worker said.
Earlier, six villagers were yesterday killed and 13 injured when a suicide bomber struck in Konduga local government area of Borno state.
